3… 2… 1… and HAPPY NEW YEAR! ✨🎉

This New Year didn’t start with fireworks for me — it started with purpose. I was at The First Hope Center, an institute in Pakistan that supports children with Autism and ADHD through early assessments, therapy, parental guidance, and by promoting inclusion in Lahore.

It was my third day there, and I’m learning something very special. I’m being trained to become a mentor for children with Down syndrome, just like me. My mother is right beside me, helping me learn, understand, and grow with confidence. Having her support makes every step feel safer and stronger.

As the New Year arrives, this journey feels like a fresh start — a new leaf turning in my life. I’m learning, I’m growing, and I’m finding my place in a space filled with kindness and purpose.

Some beginnings are quiet, but they mean everything.
And this feels like the perfect way to welcome a brand-new year. 🌱✨

While the new year is getting closer, my thoughts are travelling far and wide. ✨
I’m dreaming about all the Northern Lights I want to see one day — calm skies, quiet magic, colours dancing above. At the same time, I’m thinking about summer, the season that fills most of the year here in Pakistan — bright days, warm air, and endless sunlight.

These two feelings stayed with me so much that I painted them.
One portrait holds the cool, dreamy wonder of the Northern Lights.
The other carries the warmth and energy of summer that feels so familiar to home.

They may seem like opposites, but to me, they belong together. One is a dream I look forward to. The other is the life I live every day.

As the year ends and a new one begins, these paintings remind me of where I am and where I hope to go.
Two seasons. Two moods. One story — told through colour. 🎨✨

While everyone else is busy with twinkling lights, Christmas trees, cocoa, and festive selfies, I’m over here doing my own little celebration. ☀️💐

Sunlight pouring in, a bouquet full of fresh flowers in my hands, and my favorite pink cardigan wrapped around me like a warm hug — that’s my version of holiday magic. Who says Christmas vibes have to come from tinsel, baubles, or sparkling lights? Sometimes the magic is simple, soft, and perfectly pink.

I’m sipping in the warmth of the sun, enjoying the gentle sway of flowers, and just being completely present in my little happy bubble. It’s quiet. It’s cozy. It’s me.

The world can jingle its bells and rush around. I’ll be over here, celebrating my little joys, finding beauty in small moments, and making my own Christmas vibe. 🎀✨

Breaking news: my paintbrush has discovered a new surface. 🎨😄

It all began with fabric. Cushions came first, then table mats, runners, throws, tote bags — basically anything that stayed still long enough got painted. My art lived on sofas, dining tables, and sometimes a little too close to snacks. And honestly, that was the best part. Art that gets used, touched, and occasionally stared at by confused guests.

Then, one day I decided to use a blank canvas. No borders, no stitching lines, no rules. Just sitting there, silently challenging me. And I thought, why should fabric have all the fun?

So I painted my moods.
One became “Northern Lights” — calm, dreamy, and peaceful.
The other became “Summer” — bright, warm, and happily dramatic.

Same brush. Same creativity. New surface.
Now my art doesn’t just decorate homes — it hangs on walls and tells stories.
