🤍 I disappeared for a while, here’s why.

Running a food business in Lahore means showing up every day, and some weeks I just couldn’t. My mental health took over, so I stepped back from posting and from taking most orders.

I’m back lekin thoda differently. Catering & single-serve orders in Lahore now open only on batch days, jab main content post karti hoon. Availability drops on my story, so keep an eye there.

I can cook rice for 200 people… but apparently not for myself. 😭
I’ve catered A LOT of rice orders, so you’d think making rice for myself would be the easiest thing in the world.
Apparently not. 😂
But after trying barbecue rice at a restaurant and being thoroughly disappointed, I decided I could make it better at home.
And honestly? This version did NOT disappoint.
Smoky, flavourful, and packed with everything I want in a good rice dish.
Comment RICE and I’ll send you the recipe! 🍚❤️
And please tell me I’m not the only person who can make something perfectly for everyone else and somehow mess it up when it’s for themselves. 😭

I hyped this restaurant up SO much ke literally apne friends ko drag karke le gayi… aur us din restaurant ne meri naak katwa di. 😭

Unhon ne kuch kaha bhi nahi, but obviously maine personally le liya because if I recommend food, meri izzat ka sawal hai. 😂

Toh mere andar ki desi ammi jaag gayi: “Yeh toh main ghar pe bana loon.”

Attempt #1 also taught me something important: sometimes the recipe isn’t the problem your technique is. So yes, half this video is Day 1 and half is Day 2 because hum yahan apni ghaltiyan bhi dikhate hain. 😂

Eventually we got there: homemade gnocchi with creamy lemon pepper chicken sauce. 🍋

And despite me second guessing the entire thing, my family absolutely loved it so here’s the recipe.

Tag the “aloo” of your life. 🥔❤️

Woh shakhs jo cheekh cheekh ke mohabbat ka elaan nahi karta, koi grand gestures nahi karta, lekin jab bhi zaroorat ho, hamesha aap ke saath khara hota hai.

Basically… aloo. 😭

Lowkey. Underrated. Reliable. Aur jab zindagi buri chal rahi ho, somehow comfort dene aa jata hai.

Aur aaj humne isi aloo ko crispy fried potato balls bana diya because WHY was something this easy this good???

It genuinely felt illegal. 😭

Tag your aloo and let them know they’re appreciated. 🥔❤️

I never imagined one recipe would completely change my business.
I sold over 2,500 Pizza Burgers, and within just a few months of starting, this recipe landed me an order for 400 Pizza Burgers for a single college event.
That was the moment I realized one thing:
If you’re starting a food business today, don’t just make good food.
Make something people remember.
The market is crowded, and people have endless choices. Your product needs to give them a reason to come back and to tell their friends.I never imagined one recipe would completely change my business.

This Sriracha Lime Sandwich was never meant to be anything more than a recipe I made for myself.

But after my friends tried it, they kept telling me to open a sandwich shop because they genuinely believed people would line up for it. 😭😂

My sandwich checklist is simple:
✅ Crispy
✅ Soft
✅ Creamy

This one ticks all three.

Comment SANDWICH and I’ll send you the full recipe. And when you make it, let me know if my friends were exaggerating… or if they were actually right. 🌯✨

Why does restaurant chicken stay crispy even after being coated in sauce, while homemade crispy chicken becomes soggy almost instantly? 😭
The secret is in the technique.

The oil needs to be properly hot before frying.
Don’t overcrowd the pan.
Double-fry the chicken: fry it once, let it rest, then fry it again briefly in properly heated oil.
And there’s one more secret ingredient that makes a huge difference.

Comment THAI and I’ll send you the full recipe.

I’ve been catering Pan-Asian food for weddings and events for the past 7 years, and I’m also working on a course where I teach the techniques behind catering not just recipes.

Tell me: what’s your favourite Pan-Asian dish, and where did you have the best version of it? I might include some of your favourites in the course! 👀

Making soup for 200 people sounds simple until you have to make a cornstarch slurry in bulk.

I thought using my stand mixer would make things easier.
Instead, I added too much cornflour and water at once, the mixture got too thick, the whisk got stuck, the machine tilted, and after I finally managed to get the whisk out, the machine decided to permanently keep its current attachment.
So today’s lesson, bachon: agar koi kaam araam se aur tasalli se ho sakta hai, to jaldbazi mein usko mushkil na banayein. 😭

For the longest time, I thought being called “brave” didn’t make sense.
I cried.
I broke down.
I questioned everything.
I had more meltdowns than I can count.
To me, bravery looked like someone who never fell apart.
My parents reminded me that bravery isn’t the absence of fear, grief or tears.
Sometimes bravery is showing up for your business when your heart is broken.
Sometimes it’s rebuilding your life while you’re still grieving the one you lost.
Sometimes it’s simply taking the next step when every part of you wants to give up.
Maybe there’s a fine line between humility and constantly diminishing your own achievements.
Maybe it’s okay to acknowledge that what you’ve survived was hardand that surviving it took courage.
