Base Pizzeria, Marske...
Base always hits the spot. I've been a couple of times recently, once for the Weekend Lunch Club and once for their small plates offering. Glorious food, drinks and service. That blue cheese dip 🤩

One of my favourite months - the sun is beginning to shine, it usually has a half term holiday included and it ALWAYS has my birthday!

Teesside Hospice Superstore, Portrack Lane...
I was kindly invited down to see the new Teesside Hospice Superstore on Portrack Lane on Friday. What a fab place! There's so much to see - clothing, homewares and, of course, books! It's set out really nicely and it was easy to find some things to spend our money on! I loved some of the glassware and mugs. I also couldn't resist buying a couple of items for myself - a 100% cotton M&S top, perfect for warmer weather and a 100% merino wool jumper. I bought both for less than £14. Bargain! Did you know it costs the hospice £7.5 million per year to keep it running? My lovely grandad spent the last few weeks of his life at Teesside Hospice so supporting this meant a lot to me.
They're open 7 days a week - go and find yourself a good bargain!

Doh Boys, Norton...
Have you seen this place yet? Doh Boys make the most delicious Detroit style pizza you will find around Teesside and they've been selling out! Thick, tasty and lighter than air, these pizzas come with a range of mouthwatering toppings alongside seasoned fries and moreish dips. My favourite was the Posh Marg - cheese and tomato with some healthy dollops of ricotta and pesto.
You must try Doh Boys soon, but get there early as they've been mega popular and I'd hate for you to be disappointed!
