Here’s the wedding wine move I wish more people knew. If you serve wine at your wedding, it will be on every table. It will be part of the toasts, and that means it’ll also be in all of those pictures. The one wine move I wish more people knew is this buy an extra case and magnum. One case can cover a bunch of anniversaries. One magnum can handle a big party moment, you can’t do that with cake, or flowers or the dress. When you have a case you have a bottle for all of your major milestones, one year, five years, 10 years, and 25. Include a huge magnum to share one of those milestone anniversary parties with your friends and family . Imagine ~ the exact wine that you drank on your very wedding day!

If you don’t play you are guaranteed to never win. It will likely be messy, funny and hard all at the same time. If you are unhappy with the result the only one to blame is yourself. You drove the car there, drive somewhere else.

I’m 56. I have tasted 10,000 wines. Here’s the one rule I never break. Wine is very personal. Just like food. No two people have the same taste, likes or dislikes. So, never judge your palate by someone else’s judgment. My one rule? After you taste it, do you like it? That’s all that matters, period. I can help you train yourself to identify more flavours, styles and countries of wine. But the one rule remains regardless of where it from or how much it costs.

I’m 56 years old and I’m embarrassed to admit that every morning I am still worry about a good hair day. As a curly hair, it’s wild out there you never know what will happen, humidity, product uptake, time all can go from good to very very bad. The not so good days are the ones where I feel like Chaka Khan in her big hair days. Taming my wild mane is a life long challenge

The 75-85-95 rule for a wine is an easy way to decode American wine.
75% - of the grape on the label must be in the bottle. Like Pinot Noir or Chardonnay. 85% - from the designated area on the bottle e.g. Napa-or Russian River Valley. 95% - from the vintage, that’s the year it was made on the bottle Helps you decide those wine labels. Cheers!
