Traveling is not a hobby! It’s my full time life. As a remote worker, I’m on the road 100% of time. And this past two weeks, I’ve been in the Williamsburg, VA area. I’ve been discovering new areas and revisiting old classics. Stop # 1: Colonial Williamsburg! I have been here since I was 8 years old! And it’s still as fun and educational now as it was 30 years ago!
We spent Memorial Day weekend biking and visiting the “historical triangle” which includes Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. We learned all about the birthplace of our nation. It was really fun to experience this timeline of events as we go into the 250th anniversary of our nation’s creation. July 4, 1776 - July 4, 2026! What a tumultuous ride, hasn’t it?! How do you plan on celebrating our 250th birthday? I’m still debating if I want to visit Boston or NYC. What would you choose?
