My 5 Tips for the The Allergy & Free From Show (Scroll to the end for the most important tip!)
The show’s this weekend at a new venue NEC Birmingham in Hall 3 so here are my tips to help you make the most of the show!
I’m lucky enough to be an ambassador for this year’s show and I have been attending for years!
1. Don’t eat a big breakfast
You don’t want to be full. There are so many places to get food that you don’t want to waste the stomach space 🤣 I’m looking forward to having multiple meals and snacks there 🙌
2. Bring a bag
This year they have banned trolleys/bags with wheels 😭 there is a cloakroom but it’s paid. I always tend to take bags to store everything I buy and try to even out what my arms are holding 🤣 Lot’s of stalls offer free bags with purchases too!
3. Make the most of the talks and demonstrations
Throughout the weekend there are talks, panels, recipe demonstrations and meet + greets. There’s schedules online if you want to plan your day or when your feet need a rest, look for the nearest stage!
4. Make sure you assign yourself to your ticket
If you haven’t got a ticket yet make sure to use a discount code from a company or creator to get a better deal! My code GLUTENFREETORI gets you a £10 weekend ticket however Gluten Free Street Gang‘s code GFSTREETGANG has free weekend tickets for a few remaining people if you can use it quick enough!
Then you need to make sure to click on the email as you have to assign it to the person who is attending. If you forgot to do this and can’t find the email, head to the customer service page of the Allergy and Free From Show website.
5. Have fun and try something new!
Food festivals are the perfect place to try new items and take advantage of show offers to save some money! I tend to stock up at shows to avoid those delivery fees many offer for online orders!
⭐ MOST IMPORTANT TIP ⭐
This is an allergy and free from show covering multiple allergies, intolerances and conditions. Therefore be sure to double check the ingredients of all products you eat/use to make sure it is safe for your specific allergy/intolerance!
I can’t wait to see you at the show!!
