E&K celebrated their love for each other and their families at the picture perfect Pestana Alvor Praia …
The sea breeze did its best to disrupt with veil, tablecloth and hair being blown everywhere . I couldn’t keep anything on the ceremony table (although my dress stayed put for once 😬!) . None of that mattered though, as this was a true and heartfelt celebration of love ; pure and simple.
And a privilege to write. 💕

In 35 degs and with a proper hoolie blowing , K&K celebrated with a fantastic family and friends fun-filled extravaganza in the magnificent Monte das Oliveiras .
Laughter (& happy tears) played a huge part .
Their own daughter decided to forgo sitting through the ceremony and went to the comfy bar area instead … to hang out with the musicians & MdO staff; we could all hear them laughing as she told her funny stories - she’s just 5 years old !! My gorgeous bride quipped that her tiny princess had got to the bar before her!
Such a memorable moment.

Cards, comments and congrats are such a blessing to receive .. A&B took the time to write this only a day after their Elopement… “Helen, you'll forever have a special place in our lives. The sun shone on a scorching summers day … smiles , suits (and the odd bead of sweat) were all there in abundance … and I even got the memo about the pastel colour scheme too!
It was one of the hottest days of the year so far , but one of my most enjoyable too .
