BRUT EXPERIENCE 2026 DISTINGUE 32 ESPUMANTES
O júri do 9º Concurso Internacional de Espumantes Brut Experience, que decorreu este mês no Hotel Holiday Inn Lisboa, atribuiu, este ano, Medalha de Prestígio, a distinção mais alta da competição, a seis espumantes.
A lista, que inclui apenas os espumantes com mais de 95 pontos em 100, atribuídos pelo júri, integra o Terras do Avô 2016 Mãe 80, da Duarte Caldeira e Filhos, o Borlido 2021 Baga Bairrada Cuvée Grande Reserva Brut Nature, da Borlido, o AdegaMãe 2019 rosé Extra Brut, da Adega Mãe, o Quinta do Rol 2015 Blanc des Blancs Grande Reserva, da Quinta do Rol, o Ninfa 2017 Platinum, da Sociedade Agrícola João Teodósio Matos Barbosa & Filhos e o Marquês de Marialva espumante 2019 Cuvée Primitivo Brut Nature, da Adega Cooperativa de Cantanhede.
Numa competição que segue os regulamentos internacionais do sector, pois são apenas atribuídas medalhas até 26% dos vinhos em competição, foram distinguidos, em prova cega, 32 espumantes, dos quais seis com Medalha de Prestígio e os restantes com Medalha de Ouro. O júri, que avaliou 114 espumantes de diversas origens, foi constituído por enólogos, escanções, jornalistas da especialidade e proprietários de restaurante e lojas de vinho.

The jury of the 9th Brut Experience International Sparkling Wine Competition, which took place this month at the Holiday Inn Hotel Lisbon, awarded the Medal of Prestige, the highest distinction of the competition, to six sparkling wines this year.
The list, which includes only sparkling wines with more than 95 points out of 100, awarded by the jury, includes Terras do Avô 2016 Mãe 80, from Duarte Caldeira e Filhos, Borlido 2021 Baga Bairrada Cuvée Grande Reserva Brut Nature, from Borlido, AdegaMãe 2019 rosé Extra Brut, from Adega Mãe, Quinta do Rol 2015 Blanc des Blancs Grande Reserva, from Quinta do Rol, Ninfa 2017 Platinum, from Sociedade Agrícola João Teodósio Matos Barbosa & Filhos and Marquês de Marialva sparkling wine 2019 Cuvée Primitivo Brut Nature, from Adega Cooperativa de Cantanhede.
In a competition that follows international industry regulations, as medals are awarded to only up to 26% of the wines in competition, 32 sparkling wines were distinguished in a blind tasting, of which six received a Prestige Medal and the rest received a Gold Medal. The jury, which evaluated 114 sparkling wines from various origins, was composed of oenologists, sommeliers, specialized journalists, and owners of restaurants and wine shops.
