Hányan tudják, hogy a nyilvánvaló költségeken kívül még mi van benne a sajt árában? Háromszázhatvanöt éjszaka ébren alvása, a beteg jószág szenvedésével való együttérzés, az állatorvosra való várakozás, ami mindig bizonytalan, mert őt is száz felé hívják. Az értetlenkedés a jószággal, aki csak jelzi, hogy szenved, de nem tudja elmondani, hogy mi fáj. A szomszédok éjszakai felébresztése, ha fizikai segítség kell a tehetetlen jószág megmozdítására. 6-800 kilóval nem bít egyedül a paraszt. No meg a hit elveszítése a vágóhíd árnyékában.
