We started the day by meeting Peter, who’s building some custom equipment for us.

As soon as I got back, I had the perfect chance to scare Dalia.

For lunch, I made a special lobster linguine for my favorite customer.

Later, I tested a new seafood pizza for the menu.

Then our friend Nader showed me one of the best T-shirts I’ve ever seen: Fuma… šŸ…

Turning Allora into the best beach club in Egypt.

Today started with some good news: our business cards are finally ready. One more step to bring more guests and grow the business.

On the way back, we stopped to get some fuel. We paid only €7 for 20 liters. When I told the guy that the same amount would cost around €40 in Italy, he thought I was joking… until he realized I wasn’t.

Then we had meetings with the kitchen and service teams, went through customer feedback, and discussed how to improve our POS system.

Episode 9 of turning Allora into one of the best beach clubs in Sharm.

We started the day with a photoshoot.

After that, we sold our first bottles of champagne with the HoHo Water Service. Luckily, I took my phone and wallet out because the water was deeper than I expected.

In the afternoon, I made some cannoli. I couldn’t find ricotta cheese in the market, so I made my own. The crispiness test was a success.

Then I found myself a new dance partner. šŸ’ƒšŸ˜…

And to finish the day, the lobster linguine got approved too.

We started the day looking for some new ingredients. We didn’t find much, but at least I found some savoiardi, and you know what that means.

Then I received a new package, and from today the OH OH Water Service just got an upgrade. We received what I call the OH OH Water Tray. Now guests can enjoy drinks in the water without holding them all the time.

In the afternoon DJ Pablo played some music that not only the guests appreciated.

In the evening we had a birthday celebration, and after dinner we did karaoke with Sho.

Episode 8 – Turning Allora into the best beach club in Sharm.

We started the day looking for new ingredients, so we went to the local market. To be honest, I was expecting a bit more. Not much choice, I would say.

Later we worked on some new recipes with what we found, and in the end Mr. Sam approved the new dishes.

After that, it was time for the lunch service, so I helped a little in the kitchen.

In the end, we got lucky. Mr. Sam approved.

Day 7 in Sharm trasforming in the best beach club
The day started with us working on some business cards and promotional materials.

As soon as we got back, we did some training with the service staff, talking about hospitality and creating guidelines on how to look after guests from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Please don’t look at my handwriting. I know it’s terrible. šŸ˜‚

Later, I had a chat with a lovely family and found out that we have as a mutual friend.

The night couldn’t have ended in a better way because we witnessed a marriage proposal.

And after a little moment of suspense… she said yes.

To the wine.

No, I’m joking. In the end, he got lucky — she said yes to him too. šŸ˜‚

Day 6 in Sharm transforming in the best beach club.
The day started with me going to buy some small equipment.

As soon as I got back, they called me outside because a guest wanted his favorite pizza from his country: a Margherita with spaghetti Bolognese on top…

I didn’t take it very well. šŸ˜’

After a bit of negotiation, we found an agreement and I made him a Margherita with a little Bolognese on it.

After dinner, the party started.

Good music, great atmosphere, and everyone was having fun… especially Mr. Sam, one of the founders.

His wife just left for two weeks. 🤣

We immediately started with our daily briefing, talking about the mistakes we made the night before.

Then we worked on the design of our new business cards and some new promotions.

It was a great Friday, and I even got a visit from my first Pierinis.

We started the day with our morning briefing, and I’m happy to see that both the staff and the guests are enjoying the new OH OH water service.

To finish the day, we did a photoshoot for the bar. The cocktails were really good — even Dj Pablo was impressed.
