This is one of my favourite cake designs I’ve ever made. I love Japanese art, especially prints, and I have several at home, so creating this cake felt extra special to me. But what made it even more meaningful was that it was made for the birthday of one of my besties. 🇯🇵

I met Marina only a couple of years ago, but she quickly became one of my closest friends here in Riyadh. I’m so grateful our paths crossed because I truly know she’ll always be part of my life. 🥰

This is a recipe I’d love to share with all the mums around the world. Today is Mother’s Day in Italy and many other countries, so happy Mother’s Day to all of you wonderful mums out there.🌷

Being a mum is one of the hardest and most challenging journeys, but it’s also the most rewarding and fulfilling. It’s not an easy path, and I truly admire every woman who has had the courage, strength, and love to raise one or more children. ❤️

It’s also strawberry season, one of my daughter’s favourite fruits, so I always make sure to buy plenty for her. This recipe may look challenging, but it’s actually much easier than it seems. And I can promise you, it’s perfect to share with a group of friends over a lovely cup of tea (always for me!) while gossiping about husbands and kids. 😁

I’ve been wanting to try this new cake trend for a while now, I’m not even sure what it’s officially called… maybe a wavy buttercream dome cake? Either way, I absolutely love the idea of using this oversized piping tip to create all those soft, flowing textures.🌷

When Eoghan asked me to create a cake for his wife and her friend’s birthday party, he gave me just a few ideas, something colourful with a karaoke theme. I felt a pop art style would capture the fun, lively vibe perfectly. The biscuits decorating the cake are hand-painted in bold colours, carefully matched to the vibrant buttercream background to create a striking, extra wow look. Winnie the Pooh and his friends are among the most beloved and iconic characters cherished by children around the world since 1925. The illustrations by E. H. Shepard are undeniably beautiful, but the author, A. A. Milne, also wrote some of the most memorable and heartfelt lines ever written. 🧸

This apple tart is my friend Patricia’s favourite. I made it once for one of our friends’ gatherings and she loved it so much she would ask for it every time we organised a dinner. Patricia is living back in Spain and I miss her dearly. That is the life of an expat, you meet many people from all around the world, and sometimes you connect with someone in a special way. But our lives can change very quickly, especially in this situation we are living now in Saudi Arabia. People leave on very short notice, although I assure you we’re safe and happy here. I’ll hopefully see soon Patricia in Spain and organise many more lunches and dinners with the rest of our lovely and lively group of friends! 🥰
