Comfort food: scialatielli lutfisk (Swedish baccalà) olives and potatoes.
Yes, it’s not so abnormal to have potatoes with pasta. Two different types of starch bind together in a creamy emulsion with the sauce, with classic flavors from South Italy.
Lutfisk is generally translated in cod marinated in lye, giving a gelatinous texture to the fish meat. But flavor wise it’s close to be a sort of baccalà. Or at least don’t wake me up from this illusion 😆
