The 42 Explorer “Even Further” from Amer Yachts has now launched – marking a new chapter for superyacht propulsion.

As the first steel-hulled displacement superyacht under 500 GT to adopt the Volvo Penta IPS Professional Platform, the Amer 42 Explorer brings greater efficiency, maneuverability and onboard comfort to long-range yacht operations.

Equipped with a twin IPS 2100 package, using two Volvo Penta D13 engines per drive, the platform delivers powerful performance in a compact installation – creating new possibilities for yacht design, layout and future upgrades.
