Lupinta, the new bean thing
We produce meat substitutes made from locally grown and sourced lupin beans, providing consumers with a more sustainable alternative to those made from soy beans. Why do we think lupin is more sustainable? Currently 70% of the components used to make vegetarian and vegan products come from soy that is imported from outside of the EU. We believe that this is unnecessary since lupin beans have very similar characteristics to soy beans—high in protein and a great alternative to meat.
Sounds like an interesting bean right? But it doesn’t stop there. Lupin is not only good for the environment, but also for your health. It is high in plant-based protein and high in fiber amongst, has loads of B vitamins, has been shown to combat Type II diabetes and is gluten free. But if you ask us, the best part is that Lupinta products are incredibly tasty!
