The making of the Johor Super Crown Polo Trophy.

It was an absolute privilege for ROYAL INSIGNIA to be entrusted with bringing to life the vision and concept of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia and His Royal Highness Tunku Mahkota Ismail, The Regent of Johor.

Crafted entirely in 925 sterling silver and genuine lapis lazuli, every element of the trophy was handmade at our atelier.

From hand-raising and chasing to enamelling and gem setting, the trophy brought together some of our atelier’s most specialised crafts.

The art of enameling, mineral stone lapidary, and gemstone setting – all brought to bear in this stunning Polo Clock. Our master craftsmen at Royal Insignia combined these skills, with 3D form casting and surface furnishing, to create this 925 silver masterpiece.

Crafted in brass and coated in 24k gold, this majestic tiger was commissioned by a very special customer for the lunar new year celebrations. As an added touch of exclusivity, the customer's seal embellished with vitreous enamelling details features at the corner of the piece.

Produced using our atelier's unique blend of precision engineering and old school craftsmanship, the piece is mounted onto a frame and hangs proudly on the boardroom wall.

Our heartiest congratulations to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Madame Ho Ching for being conferred the “The Most Esteemed Family Order Laila Utama” and “The Most Distinguished Order of Paduka Seri Laila Jasa” respectively by HM The Sultan of Brunei.

Both orders were crafted by Royal Insignia.

The Most Esteemed Family Order Laila Utama

Crafted in silver and coated in 23K gold, this order was instituted in 1954 by High Highness Sir Omar Ali Saifuffien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien. Awards were for the Royal Family, foreign princes, heads of states, and other such persons. The order is decorated with intricate vitreous enameling details and carries with the the post-nominal letters DK 1. The order carries the right to the title “Dato Laila Utama”

The Most Distinguished Order of Paduka Seri Laila Jasa

Crafted in silver and coated in 23K gold, the order was instituted in 1965 and is normally awarded to expatriates for outstanding service to the Sultan and the state. The Sultanic Crown features as the central motif in this order.
