Farm to Restaurant in 30 minutes!

Ever wondered why .sg has the freshest vegetables? Because from harvesting to kitchen and to customers, its all within 1 day!

We choose to serve restaurants located nearby our farm to minimise transport time and to ensure that our vegetables stay fresh.

And of course, we reduce logistics cost so that we can offer a very comparative price (same or even cheaper than imported non-organic, pesticides-present vegetables from overseas)

BTW Jinkura Izakaya is one of my favourite izakaya with a very experienced chef who focuses on good quality and fresh ingredients!

Last week, we helped at Kovan create their own growbed last week!

Apart from indoor activities, its definitely important for children to have sufficient outdoor time to prevent myopia and to keep them happy.

At .sg, we 100% believe that farming and growing their own greens are the best outdoor time!

Will update again once they start planting their new seedlings and harvesting their own vegetables:)

We’re incredibly grateful to have been part of the learning journey of 120 ITE students as they explored the world of urban farming in Singapore with us at Two Doctors Aquaponics.

From understanding the basics of aquaponics to discovering how sustainable food systems can thrive even in compact city spaces, it was a meaningful session filled with curiosity and hands-on experiences.

Students got up close with:
- Feeding our tilapia and learning about fish health
- Exploring different growing methods – from media beds to vertical towers
- Diving into vermicomposting (and yes… getting their hands dirty with our worms!)

It’s always exciting to see young minds engage, ask questions, and connect the dots between sustainability, food, and the environment.

Urban farming isn’t just about growing food — it’s about shaping perspectives, building responsibility, and rethinking how we live in cities 🌏

Thank you for having us, and we hope this experience sparks many more journeys into sustainable living!

It pains a farmer to see a tower of vibrant green xiao bai cai perish in just two days after the water flow was cut off by strong winds.

Fortunately, that tower is only about 5% of our total crops, and we grow well above what’s needed to meet demand!

Testing the spiciness of our habanero chill from our farm.

Apparently it's one of the spicest pepper, and ranges between 100,000 to 350,000 SHU!

It's super spicy but we love it!

Maybe we should start doing up our own ultra spicy chili sauce? :)

Just wrapped up an awesome aquaponics build for one of our clients! 🌿🐟

He wanted to integrate a grow bed into his existing feature pond — and we delivered! 💪 Our small 3 person team handled the entire design and build, fitting a sleek 3 sqm grow bed with a fully automatic flood-and-drain (ebb & flow) system, complete with an external auto-siphon.

We made sure the setup isn’t just functional, but also easy on the eyes — perfect for future gatherings where guests can admire both the koi and the greens!

The grow beds are filled with LECA balls, which double as a natural biomechanical filter, helping keep the pond clean and the koi happy and healthy. Win-win! 🐠🌱

Thinking of going aquaponic? Hit us up — we love a good challenge!

This morning after my eye clinic at SKH, the nurse asked, “Will you be having afternoon clinics?”

I said, “Nope—I’m off to sell the first batch of veggies from my farm!”

Her face totally stunned... like a vegetable 😂
Doctor in the morning, farmer in the afternoon!

Super excited (and a bit emotional, not gonna lie) about our first harvest and official sales after getting our farm license!

It’s been 1.5 years of clearing ministry approvals, building everything from scratch, and solving a hundred unexpected problems—but here we are, finally launching as a proper commercial farm!

Fingers crossed we’ll be able to keep growing more and providing more from here on. 🌱

Thanks to everyone who’s been part of this journey so far!

It’s been 6 years since I first dove into the world of aquaponics.

From building small aquaponics gardens for kids…
To setting up outdoor aquaponic spaces for companies…
To running classes for curious little ones and passionate adults…

We’ve kept our hands muddy and our hearts full.

18 months ago, our small team took a leap—
We applied for our farm license to sell produce to the public.
And… we finally got it!

This license isn’t just a piece of paper.
It took approvals from 6 gov agencies (URA, SFA, BCA, NEA, SCDF, LTA), endless emails, site visits, interviews,
and the sweat of our 3-man team building it from the ground up.

Honestly, it felt like writing a medical research paper…
but with more sun, mud, and fish.

We’re now ready for our next phase—
Selling organic, locally-grown aquaponic vegetables,
and running even more meaningful educational classes for all ages.

Let’s grow together.

🌱🐟 Exploring Aquaponics with Japanese Students at Kallang! 🌟

We had a fantastic time hosting a group of Japanese students for a short but fun-filled 1.5-hour tour of our Kallang farm! Here's what we got up to:

1️⃣ Aquaponics Basics: Learning how plants and fish work together in sustainable farming.
2️⃣ Harvesting: Hands-on fun with fresh produce!
3️⃣ Fishy Encounters: Feeding and observing our aquatic friends. 🐠
4️⃣ Worm Composting: Discovering how food waste turns into nutrient-rich compost. 🌍

It was inspiring to see their excitement and curiosity. Thank you for joining us and making this day so special!

🍃 Want to experience it too? Reach out and join the fun at our farm!
