There’s something so comforting about homecooked meals; simple, satisfying, and filled with love.
Today, I’m grateful for all the mothers who express their love in the quietest yet most meaningful ways.

Starting Madum came simply from my love for cooking and bringing people together over a good meal.
Growing up, I watched the women around me; mothers, grandmothers, aunties and even the cooks I admired on TV like Nigella Lawson always gathering people around the table. Food was never just food. It was how they showed care, built community, and made everyone feel at home.

Without realising it then, that’s where I learnt the joy of sharing meals and creating spaces where people could come together.

Madum grew from those moments and those lessons. So this International Women’s Day 💜 we want to celebrate all the women’s out!
