Few estates capture the colour, diversity, and creative spirit of Sicily as distinctly as Donnafugata.

Founded in 1983 by Giacomo and Gabriella Rallo, the family estate brought together generations of winemaking experience with a new vision for Sicily—one defined by quality, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the island’s remarkable diversity. Today, Donnafugata works across distinct territories from Contessa Entellina and Pantelleria to Vittoria and Mount Etna, interpreting each through the varieties best suited to its landscape.

At the heart of the portfolio is a commitment to expressing the many identities of Sicily. La Fuga captures the freshness of western Sicily through Chardonnay, while Floramundi reveals the fragrant elegance of Cerasuolo di Vittoria. Ben Ryé, produced from Zibibbo grown on Pantelleria, stands among Italy’s most celebrated sweet wines, while Mille e Una Notte remains Donnafugata’s landmark red—a wine created to demonstrate Sicily’s potential for depth, complexity, and longevity.

The collection also reflects Donnafugata’s distinctive relationship with art and Italian culture. Its expressive labels have become as recognisable as the wines themselves, while collaborations with Dolce&Gabbana bring together Sicilian craftsmanship, design, and winemaking in bottles such as Tancredi and Bollicina Gold.

A vibrant interpretation of Sicily at sunset—shaped by diverse territories, indigenous varieties, and generations of family vision.

Featured in A Taste of La Dolce Vita, selected Donnafugata wines are now available at up to 30% off on PIVENE.com.

Available until 28 August, while stocks last. Link in bio.

From 15 to 16 August, discover Zankyo Super 7 in a 48-hour online-exclusive flash deal, available only on PIVENE.com.

Born in Miyagi, Zankyo Super 7 is a technically ambitious sake shaped by an emotional pursuit of perfection. Its rice is polished for approximately 350 hours until only 7% of each grain remains—an extraordinary feat requiring absolute precision and control at every stage.

Yet this pursuit goes beyond achieving an exceptional number. By refining the rice to its very core, Zankyo seeks to reveal its purest expression, balancing technical discipline with depth, elegance, and feeling.

The palate is remarkably pure and crystalline, unfolding with delicate aromatics, finely layered complexity, and a graceful, composed finish. Intricate without becoming excessive, it is a technical marvel transformed into something deeply expressive.

Available 15–16 August only at exclusive flash-deal pricing, only on PIVENE.com.

For many Brunello collectors, Casanova di Neri stands among the defining estates of modern Montalcino.

Founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri, the family estate was built on a belief in the exceptional potential of Sangiovese across Montalcino’s varied soils, elevations, and exposures. Today, Casanova di Neri works across seven vineyards, producing wines that reveal distinct expressions of the appellation while maintaining the estate’s signature combination of depth, precision, and freshness.

At the heart of the portfolio are three acclaimed Brunello expressions. Tenuta Nuova began as a pioneering project on land where Sangiovese had never previously been planted, creating a powerful yet highly drinkable wine with significant ageing potential. Cerretalto is the estate’s rarest and most prestigious bottling, while Giovanni Neri honours the founder and the vision that shaped the winery.

Across the range, concentration is balanced by clarity, structure by elegance, and modern refinement by a strong sense of place. The result is a distinctive interpretation of Brunello that has earned Casanova di Neri recognition among critics and collectors worldwide.

A family vision of Montalcino, expressed through some of Tuscany’s most celebrated vineyards.

Featured in A Taste of La Dolce Vita, selected Casanova di Neri wines are now available at up to 30% off on PIVENE.com.

Tommasi’s name is inseparable from Amarone della Valpolicella.

Founded in 1902 by Giacomo Tommasi, the family estate has spent more than a century shaping its reputation around the classic wines of Veneto. Amarone became central to that legacy with the estate’s first release in 1959, helping establish both Tommasi and Valpolicella on the international stage. Today, the winery remains under family leadership, with the fourth generation continuing its work across some of Verona’s most historic denominations.

At the heart of the range is the traditional appassimento method, where selected grapes are dried after harvest to build concentration, structure, and complexity. Across Amarone, Valpolicella Ripasso, and single-vineyard expressions, Tommasi combines this regional heritage with a polished, contemporary style—generous in character, yet defined by balance and freshness.

The collection moves from the approachable richness of Valpolicella Ripasso to the depth of Amarone Classico, alongside more focused expressions such as Pianetti and De Buris, the family’s flagship Amarone Riserva and a tribute to the terroir of Valpolicella Classica.

More than a century of family winemaking, led by the wine that made Valpolicella famous.

Featured in A Taste of La Dolce Vita, selected Tommasi wines are now available at up to 30% off on PIVENE.com.
