88 Hong Kong Roast Meat Specialist

With a long queue outside during lunch hours, you will not be able to miss their flagship store’s location in Lavender area. As the coffeshop is limited with sitting area (and parking spaces), I had to tabao rice and forgo noodle dish. With prices starting from S$4.50, the serving can be more generous? I think bigger eater must add an additonal portion of rice or noodles to go with the AMAZING chilli! 🌶️😋

Perhaps it was a takeaway portion, I was not blown away from the “charcoal smoke” charred roast meat. The duck meat was actually tasier than the char siew and roasted pork. Will definitely come back to try the wanton mee that everyone was slurping on!

Once a private home diner, this is the cutest Italian spot by Casa Nostra (Chef Antonio) in Joo Chiat. This little bistro is a simply a gem and it changes my complete bias views on Italian food. Turns out, I just had bad ones in the past. I cannot wait to sit by the bar, watched the chefs’ preparing and stuff myself with its updated 6-course dinner meal (SGD$139/ pax) again!
