We have been the master distributor for various branded food products and foodservice wares in Singapore and Malaysia for decades. Being one of the earliest F&B distribution companies established in Singapore pre-independence, we have built up a considerable wealth of experience and an extensive distribution network in the F&B industry, including expertise in foodservice distribution
, supermarket retail and brand management. We are also active in the re-exporting of our principals’ products into various other countries across the South-East Asian region including Thailand, Brunei, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Myanmar and Papua New Guinea. Since 2000, the company has consistently been ranked in the SME1000 by DP Information Group, Singapore’s longstanding information and credit bureau. This award is conferred to companies which have ranked in the top 1000 in Singapore on indicators such as sales turnover and net profit margin. Yong is the master distributor of consumer and foodservice products under 3 main brands: S&W, Reynolds and Libbey. Other represented brands include Basic American Foods, Diana and Pik-Nik etc. The company has represented most of these brands for more than 10 years, with the longest represented brand being S&W at 93 years and counting. This is testament to the company’s strong business relationships with its principals as well as its strong financial and business standing in the community. We continue to look our for brands which mirror our desire for quality and stability. Yong Company (Pte) Ltd is eponymous with our founder, Mr Ha Lian Yong who in the 1920's began his search for top-quality products from all around the world for sale to the Asian region. Mr Ha's daughter, Mdm Ha Niat Yin was then roped in to join the business, which grew from strength to strength and was eventually incorporated as a company in 1962 after having previously operated under sole proprietorship. After incorporation, H. Yong took on some big brand names such as S&W, Libbey, Kimberly Clark, Reynolds, Barilla, Campbells and sports brand Spalding. In line with the vision of our founder, we are always on the lookout for quality products to introduce to the marketplace. Today, we are in our 4th generation of ownership under the leadership of Mr Lim Kim Lee (Mdm Ha’s son), and we look forward to many more years of serving you and your customers.
