The name "La Vigne d'Or" which means the Vine of Gold in French was adopted during Sandy's stay in Burgundy, France also known as Cote d’Or in 2012. We believe that no great w**es can be made without good quality fruits and that can only be obtained from vines which are healthy and soils that are well taken care of. La Vigne d’Or is a wholesale w**e company that specializes in french artisanal w**es, from producers that practise organic or biodynamic agricultural methods. Sandy's past working experience with a Bordeaux Negociant Company and contacts in France, enables her to source for high end classified growth w**es or rare burgundy bottles at the best provenance as well offering best value to our clients. This ultra-rare 1982 Domaine Armand Rousseau Vieux Marc de Bourgogne represents a fascinating, nearly forgotten chapter from one of Burgundy’s most legendary w**e estates.

Distilled from the rich pomace of the domain’s iconic Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambertin Grand Cru Pinot Noir grapes during Charles Rousseau's tenure, this collector's "unicorn" spirit has spent decades mellowing in oak barrels. At 40% ABV, it transforms the rustic, intense character typical of traditional French marc into a highly sophisticated digestif, revealing deep layers of dried dark fruits, warm baking spices, forest floor, and a ruggedly complex, savory finish.

Because production was incredibly minute and the estate is globally revered, surviving bottles of this 1982 vintage are exceptionally scarce today, making them highly prized trophies at premier international auctions for both spirits connoisseurs and Burgundy purists alike.
