A meaningful step forward for The Local Farm.

We’re now officially part of Compassionate Communities Singapore (CoCoSG) with Singapore Hospice Council.

For us, this is about growing what works.
Through Farmpack for Good, one contribution can create impact on two sides — supporting patients, families and caregivers, while creating meaningful demand for our local farmers.

One choice. Two communities supported.

What started as years of sandboxing, and later brought to the public through Harvest Forward, is now giving us confidence that this model can grow with more partners and communities.

Have you visited our pop-up at Changi yet?

One thing we’ve really learnt from Harvest Forward is how much easier it is to explain what TLF does when people can see everything in one place.

A local fish can become a chowder. Spinach and goat milk can become gelato. Research can become products. And through Farmpack for Good, that same ecosystem can also support communities.

They may look like different projects, but to us they are all part of the same journey — creating more demand and more value around our farmers.
That is really what Harvest Forward is about.

Another beautiful family moment at Harvest Forward ❤️

While Ashton and Ashley were exploring, their mum patiently explained to them where our food comes from, who our local farmers are, and why the choices we make matter.

Then after tasting our gelato, we asked Ashton what he wanted us to tell everyone.

He looked at his sister and they quietly said…
“67.” 😂

We all burst out laughing.

We’re still learning the language of the next generation 😅 — but if 67 gets them talking about local food and our farmers, we’ll take it!

Thank you Mum, Ashton and Ashley for making our day. ❤️

One of the most beautiful moments for us at TLF's Harvest Forward pop-up experience was watching a mum and her two daughters experience the space together.

While the girls were watching our TLFA videos and learning about our farmers, their mum was speaking with our ambassador about how the choices we make can support farmers and also grow care in the community through Singapore Hospice Council (SHC).

Then she turned to her daughters and asked if they wanted to do their part too.They talked about it together. One daughter said $20, mum added $30, and together they made the donation.

It was such a simple moment, but one that stayed with us.

To the mum who took the time to explain, listen and let her daughters be part of that decision — thank you. ❤️

Watching that conversation unfold reminded us why we created Harvest Forward in the first place.
To spark curiosity. To start conversations. And to help families see that the choices we make can grow into something more.

Meet three people carrying farming into the next generation:

🥬 Ying Ying — growing familiar Singapore vegetables with her family’s farming know-how and new technology.

🐟 Malcolm — raising fish in our coastal waters and adapting to what people want.

🐐 Leon — continuing his family’s journey at Hay Dairies, one goat at a time.

Different farms. Different food.
Same thing they need: people to choose what they grow.

Because the next generation of farming needs a new generation of customers.
