Braised Tofu with Tomato
Ingredients
• 300 g tofu (medium-firm), cut into cubes
• 2 tomatoes, diced
• ½ cup green peas
• 1 tbsp cooking oil
• 1 tsp soy sauce
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 tsp sesame oil
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
• 3 tbsp water

Instructions
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add diced tomatoes and stir-fry until they soften and release juice.
3. Add tofu cubes and gently toss to coat with the tomato sauce.
4. Season with soy sauce, salt, and sugar. Stir gently to avoid breaking the tofu.
5. Add green peas and a small amount of water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
6. Mix cornstarch with water, pour into the pan, and stir gently until the sauce thickens.
7. Drizzle with sesame oil, turn off the heat, and serve hot.
