When we first started this business, we had a very clear aim: To provide homely, affordable, delicious food that's worth the value.

We also had another aim. Our aim was to use this platform as means to contribute back to the society and raise awareness of the different issues faced locally and internationally.

As mentioned, 10% of our monthly profits will be donated to charity. For our first month, we'll be donating to an organisation that's doing amazing work for the people in Yemen:

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). They are an international medical humanitarian organisation that provides medical care in almost 70 countries. Yemen is not only fighting one of the worst humanatarian crisis (war, famine, inadequate housing, outbreak of diseases) but they are also going through all that in the midst of this Covid19 pandemic. MSF is out there supporting hospitals, running Covid19 treatment centres, placing measures to ensure the safety of medical staffs and the patients etc. This spoke to us as we believe everyone should have access to basic healthcare. You can read up more about their work on their website at msf.org/yemen.

Lastly, thank you all for your support so far. We are looking to donate to a local charity next month so feel free to list down any organisations that you think can benefit!
