the 20 minute out and 20 minute in.
not all red wines should be served at “room temperature.
White wines actually show their Best aromas and texture when taken out of the fridge about 20 minutes before serving — too cold and you lose all the character.
And red wine? Contrary to the old myth, many reds are beautiful slightly chilled. Young, fresh reds with soft tannins and lower alcohol can be incredibly vibrant served cool. Think Beaujolais, Vin Nouveau, or a young Merlot just after bottling — juicy, refreshing, silky, and perfect slightly chilled.
The right temperature can completely transform a wine. 🍇✨
