Slovenska sonaravno pridelana vina opevajo po vsem svetu, strežejo jih v najboljših restavracijah, o njih pišejo knjige tuji publicisti. A novi zakon bi prav ta vina podredil nemogoče strogi regulaciji in ogrozil nekatere najbolj cenjene vinarje.

The facts:
Blaufränkisch, also if the name might tell you differently, is an indigenous Slovenian grape with roots in the eastern part of Slovenia, Štajerska. Cherries and Blackberries are balanced by a beautiful earthiness. It’s Blaufränkisch on the Organic Anarchy level, if you enjoy the whites you shouldn’t miss the red.
Aci Urbajs is using his old traditional methods. He is destemming the grapes, which ferment in open vats for 2 weeks with gentle extraction. The w**e ages in old Slovenian oak barrels for 12 months before bottling without fining, filtration or any addition of SO2.

The facts
Vitovska is an old white grape variety native to the Karst to which w**emakers have been giving new life in the last decade. This one is juicy golden yellow colour with a rich passion fruit on the nose, peach and Karst herbs on the palate. 10 days fermented grapes in big open vats. Aging in oak barrels for 18 months.
