Thank you to everyone who joined us at GEE Lao Izakaya Pop-Up Bangkok, proudly supported by Namkhong. Together, we shared the spirit of Laos through food, drinks, music, and meaningful moments.

The pop-up may be over, but our fire is still burning.

“จี่”
ในภาษาลาว แปลว่า “ย่าง”

แต่สำหรับคนลาว
“จี่” ไม่ใช่แค่การทำอาหาร
มันคือกลิ่นควันจากเตาถ่าน
คือวงข้าวเล็กๆ
และคือวิถีชีวิตที่ส่งต่อกันมา

“Gee” in Lao means “to grill.”

But for Lao people,
it’s more than cooking.
It’s the smoke from charcoal fire,
small shared meals,
and a way of living passed down through generations.
