We are pleased to announce that Ms. Kannikar Maneemoung has been selected as the Assembly Member for Thailand in the Global Citizens’ Assembly (GCA).

The Global Citizens’ Assembly brings together everyday people from around the world to deliberate on pressing global issues and share recommendations with global decision-makers. In 2026, the GCA will deliberate on Global Food Systems — exploring how food is produced, distributed, accessed, and consumed in the context of climate change, fairness, and sustainability.

Ms. Kannikar was selected through the GCA’s independent, demographic lottery process, designed to ensure fairness and representation. As Thailand’s Assembly Member, she will join participants from across the globe in a series of guided discussions from January to March 2026, contributing lived experience and perspectives to recommendations that will be shared in the global stages such as UNFCCC.

Siam Biotrade is honoured to serve as the Community Host for Thailand, supporting the recruitment process and providing local support throughout the Assembly journey.

We congratulate Ms. Kannikar and look forward to supporting her participation in this important global process.

ซึ่งได้รับการคัดเลือกให้เป็น Assembly Member ของประเทศไทย ใน สภาพลเมืองโลก (Global Citizens’ Assembly – GCA)

GCA เป็นกระบวนการระดับโลกที่เปิดพื้นที่ให้เสียงของประชาชนทั่วไปได้มีส่วนร่วมในการหารือและจัดทำข้อเสนอด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศ ในปี 2026 GCA จะมุ่งเน้นประเด็น ระบบอาหารโลก (Global Food Systems) ภายใต้บริบทของการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ความเป็นธรรม และความยั่งยืน

คุณกรรณิการ์ได้รับการคัดเลือกผ่านกระบวนการสุ่มตามข้อมูลประชากรของ GCA ซึ่งออกแบบมาเพื่อความเป็นธรรมและการเป็นตัวแทนอย่างแท้จริง โดยเธอจะเข้าร่วมการสนทนาออนไลน์ร่วมกับ สมาชิกสภา (Assembly Member) จากทั่วโลก ระหว่างเดือนมกราคม–มีนาคม 2569 และมีส่วนร่วมในการจัดทำข้อเสนอที่จะถูกส่งต่อไปยังเวทีนานาชาติ เช่น UNFCCC

Siam Biotrade team – including the President, Vice President, CEO, Advisory Board Chair, Community Enterprise leadership, Engineering team, R&D team from Khon Kaen University and honorary attendees from NSTDA – joined Provincial and Subdistrict Administrative Organisation officers and local communities in Kalasin to discuss the construction of our internationally certified facilities for agricultural products.

The public discourse addressed the support to smallholder farmers and to strengthen the Northeast’s agricultural economy.

We look forward to more meaningful and exciting developments to come.

ทีมงานสยามไบโอเทรด ซึ่งประกอบด้วย ประธาน รองประธาน ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร ประธานคณะที่ปรึกษา ผู้นำวิสาหกิจชุมชน ทีมวิศวกรรม ทีมวิจัยและพัฒนาจากมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และผู้เข้าร่วมเกียรติจากสำนักงานพัฒนาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งชาติ (สวทช.) ได้ร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่จากองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดและองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบล รวมถึงชุมชนท้องถิ่นในจังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับการก่อสร้างโรงงานเพื่อสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มแก่ผลผลิตทางการเกษตรที่ได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานสากล

การเปิดเวทีเสวนาสาธารณะในครั้งนี้ได้มุ่งเน้นถึงการสนับสนุนเกษตรกรรายย่อย และการเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้กับเศรษฐกิจด้านการเกษตรของภาคอีสาน

เราทุกคนมีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งในการสร้างผลงานจากการพัฒนาเชิงสร้างสรรค์และความร่วมมือที่มีความหมายมากยิ่งขึ้นในอนาคตอันใกล้นี้

🎉 Siam Biotrade kicks off IRD Cap Building 2025 with Thailand Science Park, Northeast Region 🤩

We are honoured to be selected for the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation’s Industrial R&D Capacity Building programme (IRD Cap Building)—a flagship initiative that helps companies establish in-house R&D and accelerate innovation.

Our first workshop with Khon Kaen University mapped the path from concept to lab-scale proof and on to market-ready products. Stay tuned for our milestones!

เมื่อวันที่ 5 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 บริษัท สยามไบโอเทรด จำกัด ได้เดินทางไปศึกษาดูงานที่โรงงาน Vara Food & Drink จังหวัดนครปฐม ภายใต้โครงการ TCC On-site Visit ของหอการค้าไทย เพื่อเยี่ยมชมกระบวนการผลิตน้ำผลไม้กระป๋องที่ส่งออกในระดับสากลพร้อมเรียนรู้กลยุทธ์การบริหารธุรกิจครอบครัวสู่การค้าระหว่างประเทศที่สร้างความมั่นคงและมั่งคั่งให้แก่ธุรกิจและเกษตรกรในชุมชน

On 5 February 2026, Siam Biotrade Co., Ltd. visited the Vara Food & Drink factory in Nakhon Pathom Province under the TCC On-site Visit program organized by the Thai Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of the visit was to observe the production process of canned fruit juice for international export and to learn business strategies for transforming a family business into an global enterprise that creates stability and prosperity for both the company and farmers in the community.

✨ We’re proud to share an exciting update!

Our VP, Onusa Kanhachat, has been selected as Thailand’s Community Host for the Global Citizens’ Assembly 🎉

The Global Citizens’ Assembly brings together people from around the world through a selection process designed to support fairness and diversity. Participants learn, discuss, and share recommendations with policy and decision makers on important global issues.

For 2025–2026, the Assembly is supporting the Government of Brazil’s efforts to establish a Citizens’ Track within the UN COP process. In early 2026, the Assembly will focus on key questions around the governance of global food systems and their close links to climate change.

🌍 Food is a topic that connects everyone. By exploring how to feed the world within planetary boundaries, the Assembly will address important challenges at the center of global climate action.

Over the past months, we have been working on the application and selection process for Assembly Members from the Bangkok Metropolitan Area.

✅ Applications are now closed, and we are currently working closely with the selected participants as the program moves forward.
