A new joint, "The Chicken Club" opened in my neighborhood. Considering its always packed, it must be great right?

I'd ordered the Nashville burger which had three peppers next to it so I expected some heat... Which unfortunately never came. I'm not sure if my order was mixed up but unfortunately it wasn't the least bit spicy. What was great (and rather unorthodox) is that instead of a chicken fillet, they use two juicy tenders! Perfectly cooked, well seasoned, combined with fresh slaw made for an amazing chicken burger overall.

The fries however, told a different story; they were either old and refried or fried in old oil. Too oily, not seasoned and stale. It was however great that they give you three different house sauces for free with every meal.

The Service was friendly, the food arrived quickly and the restaurant is well themed.

I will be back, to hopefully actually get a Nashville burger and give them another try, but for now it's far from my favourite chicken burger experience in the area.

To be completely honest, this was not even on our radar! We were in Kadiköy to review another restaurant but
as they were full so we settled for this restaurant. The disappointment of not getting into the first restaurant quickly faded once we experienced X Burger, this place is X-cellent (sorry about that one😁)!

There's a wide variety available with all burgers available in S/M/L. After a short wait, we were really impressed; the burgers were put together with care, the ingredients seemed plentiful and fresh which surprised me! The meat was well seasoned, the right amount of sauce was used, toasted buns were fresh and it was just an overallhearty burger with the right amount of stuff in the right places.

The fries could do with some seasoning but are really well paired to the
house dipping sauces.

This establishment does not serve alcohol or coffee so
water and soft drinks will have to do.

Look, this is not my absolute favourite burger (I'm such a sucker for a smashburger) but it has one big thing going for it: value. I don't think there is another burger joint in the area that can rival X Burger for price vs quality. We we so surprised with this restaurant we've been back a few times and the quality has remained consistent. You'll always get a table (I don't know why it's not busier) which makes it a bit of a hidden gem in the centre of Kadiköy.

An extremely delicious burger, great service, an awesome vibe and a price that can't be beat is really special.

After a few attempts (as it was full) I finally got the opportunity to try the Zapata Burger in Kadiköy, here's how it went:

A couple of friends were starving on a winter's night and what better meal than a wholesome cheeseburger!? We were fortunate enough to get seating inside as Zapata is notorious for being packed at the weekends.

We were met with speedy service, clean and clear menus (with an English version too) and.

Whilst my friends had opted for specialty burger I believe the best judge of a burger house is their standard cheeseburger. I love the fact that they ask how you'd like it done (we went for medium rare). The ingredients were fresh, the bun toasted to perfection, the meat cooked perfectly and just the right amount of melted cheese. Overall; almost perfect, I would have liked some pickles and a tiny bit more lettuce.

We'd ordered the cheesy as well as the spicy fries. The cheesy fries was (expectedly) covered in American cheese and were good but the spicy fries left me disappointed - regular fries with a generic cajun seasoning sprinkled on top and not spicy at all.

This place does not serve alcohol or coffee so Redbull, Coke and waters are available.

Overall we were really happy with the quality of the Zapata burger and I can understand why it's always busy - one of the great burgers in Kadiköy and a must try if you're in the area!
