I am seriously so humbled and honored by this. ❤️ Thank you, Evelyn Marie Martin and Vino Veritas, for choosing me as your Regular of the Month and for always making the Blue Cottage feel like so much more than a wine bar. It truly is community, friendship, laughter and a whole lot of love. 🥂❤️

And the Pallattonic… this one is incredibly special to me. 🍊🍸 One sip takes me right back to Bucharest and a memory I never wanted to forget. Thank you for always entertaining my crazy ideas, listening to the stories behind them, and somehow finding a way to bring this one to life in a glass. I am truly touched. ❤️

🇹🇷🍯 Istanbul: Where Terroir Comes to Life

Terroir isn’t something you simply taste—it’s something you experience.

In Istanbul, every moment tells part of the story: the call to prayer echoing across the skyline, centuries-old mosques rich with history, the warmth of Turkish hospitality, vibrant spice markets, unforgettable cuisine, the aroma of Turkish coffee, the artistry of handwoven silk carpets, and landscapes that have inspired generations.

And then… the honey.

Turkey is famous for its exceptional Kestane (chestnut) honey, one of my absolute favorites. If you truly want to experience one of the world’s finest chestnut honeys, there’s no better place than the country that has perfected it.

This is why I travel—to understand the people, the place, and the story behind every spoonful.
