Salad ingredients
¼ cup black olives
¼ cup green pitted olives
¼ cup sultans
½ cup finely chopped celentro
½ cup chopped almonds
1 medium carrot
1 tin yellow corn
1 large red/ purple onion (optional)
1 large green apple
Dry seasonings
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon cian pepper
½ teaspoon white pepper
½ teaspoon sugar
Wet seasoning
½ teaspoon white vinegar
½ cup mayo (optional)
4-6 table spoon olive oil or olive of choice
1 large lemon/ lime
Directions:
1. Grate carrot on the smallest side or size of your liking.
2. Dice green apple into bite size pieces, do not peel outer layer of skin and remember to remove core and seeds
3. In a bowl, mix all dry seasonings together
4. In another bowl, mix all wet ingredients with the exception of the olive oil or oil of choice
5. Using a large salad bowl, place all salad ingredients and toss until well blended
6. Add dry and wet seasoning mixtures to salad and toss until all salad ingredients are coated evenly
7. Drizzle olive oil or oil of choice to salad
8. Serve chilled or at room tempeture
Servings: 4 to 5 adults
