Boarding School Days

I have always been Passionate about food from a tender age. I started cooking from as far as I can remember. Some of the interesting snacks we had at school were soweto, bunyanda, sosoliiso, kabalagala, the list goes on and on.

During our boarding school day, I used to make my own grab to take to school like Roasted Gnuts, daddies, gweke aka emberenge. At school I remember we categorized all these as empokya.

About 3 years ago i started buying some daddies just to snack and remind my self of the school days. However the daddies were always hard and by the time a sachet was empty my jaws had just had a serious workout.

So I decided to make my own daddies, soft and crunchy. When I shared with my friends and family, they loved them. So I decided to share them with the whole world. One Flavor led to another and now we are 4 flavors later and still counting.
