I think it’s safe to say Grumpy really enjoys harassing me. I’m glad they follow me back to the chicken yard easily - even if Grumpy has to show off when we arrive. Wait for it…..

We obviously need to add more hummingbird feeders. These three were fighting over the feeder. The winner is still sitting on it, like he’s guarding it. Little one there is plenty to share!

What have we started… it’s like a bunch of toddlers who found a new game. The Lost Boys have started swarming the golf cart every morning. This is an accident waiting to happen. But just like with toddlers, they will lose interest quickly. And there will be a new game. This one does beat the “fly to mom’s head” competition….

When Grumpy wants attention he will not be denied. He obviously felt slighted that I didn’t sit and interact with him (hello there are about 70 other birds to look after). So when I jumped into the cart to turn my attention to horses he flew into the cart and on to the steering wheel. He had every chance to abandon the bumpy ride but again - when he wants attention…. And let’s just say he is MUCH braver than Randy.
