So much to say about this girl and her goat. Sarah Burrows you have showed how much hard work you put into your animals by having Roisin for your project. Anybody who would have seen her when you got her would agree. You have been so fun to watch and see how much you have learned. We are so proud of you winning Grand Champion Junior Showmanship today at the Stillwater County 4-H Fair.
We spent the morning at the Stillwater County 4-H Fair. It’s always fun to watch the kids that get goats from us. Congratulations to Annabelle Cheff and her wether. She received Reserve Grand Champion in Novice Showmanship! She did a great job with this little wether and she has learned so much this year, it was definitely fun watching her.
Registered Does that are being bred for 4h next season, can’t wait for December to see some great genetic lines hit the ground.

Did some trimming on some goats today just to work on my skills 😉. Kokapelli, the dapple, is a yearling and she is shaved completely (more like a market show shave) and Peanut, the traditional, is 6 months old and is shaved with a blending technique (for the breeding show side). Had fun with it!
New box of scrapie tags showed up today. Feel like these going to have to be on auto ship here soon.
