Our family was so blessed to spend several weeks in London and Paris in July. One of the museums we visited featured Monet, one of my favorite impressionist painters. These cookies are for an online class I take and they remind me of those beautiful paintings we saw in Paris. I hope you like them as much as I do!

Happy Summer! A fruit salad or healthy Açaí Bowl is always refreshing and healthy on these warmer summer days and that is what I had in mind as I worked on this cheerful bowl of fruit! I hope you like seeing them as much as I enjoyed making them!

Did you know my “other” job is teaching piano? Today, my studio celebrated it’s 27th year with a wonderful group of student performers. I made the cookies on the left for a friend’s 40th year recital and the ones on the right for my own studio recital.

A few of my latest projects. My little grandson, Everest, turned one year old and of course, I had to make him some cookies. I also made him a Smash Cake, which I was really proud of. I was honored to make a graduation set for Rachel N., who graduated from college this year. And . . . I’m excited for the lucky ladies who will be attending the woman’s tea at their church this weekend, who will be treated to an edible flower!

On to my next project . . . Cookies for a June wedding!

Spring has sprung! What the world needs now is more love, kindness, hope and peace. These cookies are a mixed media creation which included baking the cooking, flooding with all white royal icing, hand drawing the outlines with an edible marker and a then finishing with a combination of edible paint and royal icing/edible marker accents. Lastly, each cookies has my wish for a kinder, gentler world hidden on them. I hope you enjoy!

It’s always a privilege to make cookies for a wedding. For this wedding, the bride and groom used a “You are my lobster” theme. The bride asked me to match the colors to her flowers. I think everything matched beautifully. The cookies travelled with them to Florida and it was a wonderful day for all! Congratulations to the newly married couple!

Happy 2023! I hope your holidays have been joyful! Thank you for sharing in my cookies this year! When I look back at a years worth of cookies, I’m always surprised by what has been accomplished, because I when I “cookie” it is simply an expression of gratefulness and creativity. And if I can offer some to you along the way, that is an extra bonus. This year has come with it’s own set of blessings and challenges as a family, but there still are many cookie blessings to show for a year of cookie creating and I’m so happy to share it with you now!
