It's been a busy week here at the rescue. Making repairs to the 6 stall barn, still have to replace broken pipes from the freeze.

Update on Fancy Girl... She saw Dr Merry today, and her diagnosis is cancer. I'm going to let her live out her life with plenty of love 💕, Good food, and TLC.
This is heartbreaking to me, She's such a lover girl, and deserves to be treated right, after all she's gone through.

Laci is out eating some seeds I planted. This girl is the Absolute Best, so loving, calm, does whatever you ask of her. She's in rehabilitation, still needs to gain 200#.

UPDATE ON TUCKER !!! Lynn Smith is doing an amazing job with this lover boy. He's packing on the pounds. Thank you Lynn for making my heart 💜💜💜 smile. He's put on quite a bit since adoption.

What am Awesome Day it has been.... We took our Gentle Giant Cisco to Onalaska for a surprise birthday party for Lillie and Logan... Both have Always Dreamed of riding a Horse.. We showed up as a BIG SURPRISE for these precious 💞 children.

As of today, the rescue has been in Ace Tx for 8 years. We have adopted out 97 horses since our move.

My Dad sent me this today so I wanted to share. This is my niece Olivia !! At a Horse Show in College Station last weekend.
She won 1st place !! I'm so excited for her and her mom Tiffany. Great 👍 Job Olivia !!

This is Honey, she was a slaughter bound rescue from Kemp Tx. She's such a sweetheart, very loving, listens well, stands tied, good with farrier. She's from the state of Ohio. I have a copy of her registration papers from AQHA. She's out of Smart Little Lena. She will be riding with Fancy Girl Friday for her vet check.
She's gained 175 # since arrival at the rescue. She is still on her special feeds diet for rehab. Honey just had her hooves trimmed last Monday and did so good with our farrier.

Good day folks... I could use some assistance with the rescue babies. I've been under the weather for several weeks . Saw my Doctor, waiting on my meds. I'm out of Air and energy, need to gain 40 pounds... but I'm getting them fed and taken care of.
Missing you Wildfire, you always brightened my soul.

Miss Honey will also be going to our veterinarian Friday with Fancy Girl for a check up before she's put up for adoption.

UPDATE ON FANCY GIRL.... She has another appointment with our veterinarian Friday December 9th... I will be taking her to Cold Spring for another examination.

Good day folks.... Today is Giving Tuesday, but I'm not running a Facebook fundraiser due to they still owe 735.00 from December 2019. If anyone can help us out, the babies and I would be very grateful.
I haven't posted in a while because I have been sick. Babies are being taken care of, that's about all I can do.
Below is a picture of Fancy. Her abscess busted and drained but now it has come back. So she needs surgery to remove this as it has come back overnight. I was shocked to see this as she was medicated daily x2.
At this point we're needing funds for surgery, feed, hay, farrier, veterinarian etc etc etc.
If you can please help me keep helping these babies I'd be forever grateful.
Currently we have 4 babies in rehab and our feed costs have doubled.
Our farrier will be here today, I sure appreciate him for working us in his schedule.
