I would like some opinions on which of my jars of tomatoes to enter in the fair this year we are gunning for a Grand Champion Ribbon, and I WANT YOUR HELP DECIDING WHICH ONE TO SEND TO STATE..so everyone vote on which jar is most appealing to you!! Thank you for your time and your help.
It is starting to look beautiful around here!

Beautiful spring day, bluebonnets in full bloom.
Got another lane done this evening 80 tomato plants in the ground!! I will try to be getting a lane done everyday until it is all in! Eagerly awaiting these jems...
Reminds me of you Michael Loftis as of late...
I think we have survived the worst of the cold this year hopefully this will be a great year in the field for crops.
Plus we have got a big amount of tomato plants to get in, and get started. Now if I can just catch this pesky rabbit!!
We are already planting for the coming harvest for over a month now
We strive to bring to market fresh, all natural, pesticide free grown fruits and vegetables as well as homemade jellies, jams, and other products.
Began planting this season's onions today...Georgia Sweet and Red Sweet. Will be available by early May.
If you messaged earlier about eggs please call 580-283-3401...our local Internet is not being cooperative. I saw a notification that someone ask that we hold eggs but was unable to see who it was.
SALE ON EGGS!!! 18 count carton/$2.00. We've happy hens who seem to be enjoying this cooler weather...we're averaging 2 dozen fresh eggs laid a day.
Your Attention Please!!!!
Know your growers, know where your food comes from, & how it was raised! My fellow friend, and farmer told me that there is another farmer in the area that out sources all of his crops. In which case he is trying to sell subscriptions (like we do) at very similar, & giant price ranges with outrageous weekly ranges which don't even exist within a spectacular growing season. Also with no refunds I call this a SCAM!!!
When you grow all your own crops, you know exactly what care was put into them. For this farmer I can only feel sympathy for you, for you are not, nor ever will be a farmer. Unless you decide to make your back ache, keep your hands covered in earth, eat, sleep, and dream about this lifestyle!!!
I felt the need to post this for all of our friends and patrons. Being aware is half the battle...
Sincerely Yours,
Dirty Hands
We have lots of eggs if anyone need some

Last of the Fall Harvest
Despite a lackluster harvest and very uncooperative weather we still managed to earn a number of ribbons at this year's county fair...including a Reserve Grand Champion on our Blackberry Jam. Our jams and jellies continue to bring home the most blue ribbons.
Fall harvest time! We will be trying our hands at making Pear Butter later today for the first time.
We did it again! Grand Reserve Champion 2nd year in a row with our seedless blackberry jam!! Pictures to come
Just a little rabbit buffet this morning with football, and fast approaching fall thoughts on our minds. Have a great Monday friends!!!!

She is one proud and protective momma. I seen her teeth first hand lol
Most of our crops have luckily survived the torrent of rain we have received thus far. We are counting our blessings, and continue to hold all the other farmers/gardeners in our prayers for protection from this crazy weather. The sugar snap peas are coming on as well as all four varieties of cucumbers. Finally with some more much needed sunshine the tomatoes, blackberries, onions, and potatoes are doing very well too!!!
Thank you for all of your support friends and loved ones.
Sincerely,
Michael & David of L & N Farms
