October was made for caramel apples. 🍂

Crisp Granny Smith apples, buttery caramel, rich chocolate, and all the good things on top. The Apple Queen is officially in her favorite season. 🤎

I’ll be making fresh batches throughout October for Ada + Holdenville, with limited quantities each week.
And yes… I’m thinking we may need a Halloween preorder this year. 🎃

Perfect for parties, teachers, coworkers, neighbors—or just hiding one in the refrigerator for yourself. 😉
Who would be interested in Halloween apples this year? Comment yes!!

A little Apple Queen note-

You may notice that Ada and Holdenville don’t always have the exact same flavors — and that’s intentional!
After doing this for several years, I’ve learned that each location has its own favorites. Some flavors fly off the shelves in Ada, while completely different ones are favorites in Holdenville. I try to stock each shop based on what their customers actually buy, rather than sending the same assortment everywhere.
And because The Apple Queen is truly a one-woman operation, I can only make so many apples each week. Every apple is dipped, decorated, packaged and delivered by me, so I have to be thoughtful about where each flavor goes.
If you see a flavor at one location that isn’t at the other, it isn’t because anyone was forgotten — it simply means I’m doing my best to keep both shops stocked with what sells best there. 🤎
And sometimes you might just have to make a little road trip for your favorite.

I’m also incredibly grateful for both of the women behind these shops who make room for my little business inside theirs. Both stores are wonderful, locally owned, and filled with things they’ve carefully chosen for their customers. Supporting The Apple Queen at either location means you’re also supporting another hardworking woman and her small business — and I’m pretty proud to be a tiny part of both. 🤎

Since 2020.

The Apple Queen started six years ago.

And after all this time, it’s still just me.

I still choose the apples. I still make the caramel, dip every apple, melt every bowl of chocolate, add every topping, package every one, and make the deliveries myself.

There isn’t a production line or a big kitchen full of people behind The Apple Queen. Just a little business I started in 2020 that grew one apple at a time.

I’ve learned a lot along the way, changed a few things, perfected a few things, and probably eaten more caramel than I’d care to admit. But the important parts have stayed the same: good ingredients, Granny Smith apples, and making something I’m proud to put my name on.

Six years later, I still love seeing a counter full of finished apples at the end of the day.

And I’m especially grateful that you’re still buying them. 🤎
