Don't forget to enter MDHT's Rock N Roll XDerby on January 7 - 8, 2023!! We are already almost half full! So, if you plan to enter, do it soon. Closing date is January 1st, but we may be full by then. Dress you and/or your pony as your favorite singers/bands dead or alive. We are all looking forward to seeing everyone's creativity!

Because you asked, we have split out the Introductory and Elementary Divisions. Both divisions will be offered on Saturday and Sunday. Intro will have smaller (18") and a few less show jumps and will jump all of the Intro XC jumps. Elementary will have 2'3" show jumps and will be required to jump all of the Elementary XC jumps (no choice given). So, make sure you are entered into the correct division. If you'd like to switch divisions, you can go into your entry, click on EDIT ENTRY, click through until you get to the divisions page, unclick the division you are currently entered in, then click on the division you'd like to be entered in. Make sure that only one division is clicked. Make sure to finish up and confirm the change. You should receive another confirmation email from Compete Easy. We are SO EXCITED for this weekend's MDHT Donation XDerby!! We have 2 full days of competition along with 2 full Costume Classes each day and are looking forward to seeing all of the Christmas & Holiday spirit. It is very important for everyone to be on time for their rides so we can finish before dusk.

Congratulations to our MDHT Starter Series Team Winners...Powered by Mimosas!! Team riders were Blair Dunleavy riding Virginia Gentleman, Angela Kemerer riding Precious Miracle and Nicole Doering riding Worth the Whiskey. The team didn't start until the Fall but consistent placings gave them the come from behind win after the November Starter HT & Championships. Congrats to these 3 ladies who worked so hard for their trophy! More photos to come when they head out to school the XDerby course and pick up their prizes.

Thank you to everyone that has signed up to volunteer so far for this weekend's MDHT November Starter Horse Trial & Championships!!! It's going to be a fabulous, warm weekend!! We just need a few more XC jump judges to get everything covered on Sunday. The XC Briefing is at 7:30 am (will feel like 8:30 with the time change :). The day will wrap up by 2:00. With USEA MDHT #3 + Area II Championships coming up Sept. 30 - Oct. 2, we are looking for a village of volunteers to sign up. We are running Friday through Sunday with regular and championship divisions from Intermediate through Beginner Novice. If you are competing, we still need setup help during the week, especially on Thursday assisting show jump course designer, Kathy White, with setting up the course. XC decorating needed on Wednesday. Volunteers can use their schooling pass for the Competition Course that will be open from October 10 - 16.
