Half Bridge Farm

Half Bridge Farm is named for the 138 year old suspension bridge over the North Branch of the Milwaukee River. Half Bridge Farm is 157 acre homestead, on the edge of the Northern Kettle Moraine.

The north branch of the Milwaukee River runs through it, it has varied wood lots of maples, red oak, beech and nut trees. Our home is a 180 year old barn, dismantled timber by timber and re-erected 300 feet from its original site. All the historic beams are restored, and much of the interior wood was harvested by my husband Tom and I from our woodlots. Heirloom vegetable gardens, perennials flower
