Our eldest said she would help so, if she were to, would anyone be interested in naturally fermented (sourdough) donuts at the farmstand this weekend? Or next weekend we could do donuts & beignets ...

I will assure you THEY HAVE *NO* SOUR TASTE.
My kids wouldn't eat them if they did 🤣

Today is Leah's birthday and she requested cinnamon rolls so I ended up making a few extra to put in the farmstand at Advance today 🙃

Today's post - 07/30/26

So, the phone calls yesterday were dealing with insurance.

Last week, on the 21st, the girls and I were in an accident on our way to Cape.

Apparently a large slow moving piece of equipment stopped in the road about 20 cars up.
I had been driving in the traffic.
A large piece of equipment had stopped in the road about 20-ish vehicles ahead.
I ended up hitting the back of the trailer in front of us.

THANKFULLY - we are all ok. Bruised, sore, and a little traumatized but still alive & well.
PRAISE JESUS! 🙌🫶
Things can be replaced, including vehicles and carseats.

Today, we went to Enterprise and are currently renting a Ford transit van and to say our kiddos LOVE IT & are so stoked is probably the understatement of the year 🤣
So much space.
My husband loves it. I'm loving it. 🫣

ANYWAY- Accountability post for Wednesday 07/29

I added batteries to our organizer (this thing is pretty neat and even comes with a battery tester) - picked up around the house - made some phone calls - roasted a pan of tomatoes - made a fruit smoothie for my MIL - baked 20 rolls - done a loaf of laundry - cleaned on the table (it is our CATCH ALL) - wrote down some lists of things to do/places to go/things to buy

What did you happen to get done?

I have responded to emails, working on purging/decluttering MY clothes, have picked up in the yard & tossed stuff in the dumpster. Took the girls to gymnastics & delivered some eggs.

Accountability post for MONDAY [07/27/26] bc I fell asleep last night before posting 😬🫪🫣

I went through a tote of clothes and packed the 3T clothes up to donate - sorted/washed/dried the 18 month clothes for my great niece - made calls that I've been avoiding and printed statements that I have been procrastinating on. I told my husband 'I've eaten alot of FROGS today' 🐸 (again, this was yesterday)

Have you ever heard that saying about things that you DON'T want to do?! 🫣🙃

Accountability post for 07/25 & 07/26 because I forgot to post 😬🫣😶

Smack my hand for not being accountable! 😫🫪

Anyway - we worked on the farm (hence how I found the 'corn s**t' & the ear of corn in the picture below) - my husband and I took a little time to make LISTS of all the things we want/need to do individually, on the farm, around the house/home, and for the farmstead - I scrubbed my sink (it was empty 🙌🎉😂) - we had church yesterday - we cleaned some - fed the family - gathered eggs & tomatoes. Sounds like alot but it was 2 days and we weren't full force so they weren't crazy busy days.

That being said - what did you accomplish over the weekend?
