I got in the kitchen today and baked! With the help of my son, we made this skillet brownie. It turned out good, and I felt pretty good. It had been a long 3 months and I have missed baking!

I am praying my back will allow me to complete fall orders. I will be slowly adding some test runs in to see how I do.
If everything goes well, maybe some apple c***r donuts or bread this week!!

Hello and welcome to August! It's still hotter than Satan's armpit in the south, so I am sharing another refreshing treat to help keep you, and your kitchen, cool.

This one is for my dad! He loved a good root b**r float!

Note:I saw another version of this recipe where it was made without the addition of the milk and it supposedly made it more like an ice cream texture. I have not tried either way yet, so use whichever variation you think would work for you. If you do make it, please share a picture with me and let me know how it turned out.

Root b**r float pie captures the essence of the classic dessert and translates it into a creamy, frosty, no-bake dessert.

Since I am not able to bake much and share my own desserts, I thought I would share some recipes I think look delicious.

Hello everyone!

I have been out with an injury for the last couple of months, but am now on the road to recovery. With the help of an assistant, I am dipping my toes back into baking. I will be starting out with small orders such as cookies, brownies, muffins, quick breads etc. I will not be able to do large orders, or cakes, for a while. I wasn't able to get "fancy" pictures of my angel food cake because life happens, lol. However, I can say it was very well received! Light texture, marshmallow type flavor, it was delicious and everything an angel food cake should be.

That means it's time to bring out the bright/fresh flavors. This lemon/blueberry cake is just that. Bright lemon cake with a blueberry filling and frosted with either a lemon, or vanilla buttercream frosting. 🍋
