After almost a month hiatus... The Bums are back in town ... here at The Grizzly in Wellington Ohio, hopefully we remember how to do this. Good luck today to everyone here and elsewhere competing today.

Home , cleaned up and unpacked from Smoke in the Mitten BBQ Competition. Another great competition put on by Jim, Sarah, and crew at VFW 9885 "Bova".

The Bums turned in what we thought were 4 solid entries and the judges only agreed on a 3rd place Chicken call.

Congratulations to Shiggin Ain’t Easy BBQ on the GC and to We Will Rock 'Que Competition BBQ on their RGC.

Up next is in our backyard at the Rockin' BBQ in Warsaw.

Back home dried out and warmed up from a soggy and quite chilly 2026 Great Lakes BBQ Association Spring Fling at Branch County Fairgrounds... first off wanna give kudos for all involved in putting on this event ... was amazing as always!

We were able to cook the Friday Beak to Beak chicken competition at the Spring Fling BBQ competition. We were lucky enough to finish 2nd place this year. Congrats to IBQ'n on his first place chicken and all the others who heard their names called. Sorry we were in a rush and didn’t get a picture. Triple 9 products for the win. Triple 9 chicken brine and What the Cluck paired up on the new Ringo was a hit.
