Not all things homesteading are great. Our sweetest goat Crady was found dead this morning. Poor thing. We don’t know what was wrong with her, but she was acting weird when we put her in her stall last night. Luckily, her kid is acting completely normal.

Zombie: $10 per chick

We also have some senior chicks for $3 per chick. I personally prefer seniors, because they are past the age of spontaneous death.

Accidentally left one of the roosters out last night. It has now woken up me and two of my three children at six am!! My middle child came down and said, “Mommy, I was waiting on the rooster to get up.” 😡 I think chicken will be on the menu very soon.
