Meet Kai-Kenny and Yshel, co-founders of Fabula Tea.

Watch as they share why their approach to tea feels so different: micro-batch teas sourced through relationships with farmers and producers, traditional tea-making knowledge passed through generations, and remarkable teas from places like Yunnan, Fujian and Guangdong including aged pu-er, white teas and Phoenix oolongs.

People filled SIPS for the last Fabula Tea salon. Now they’re coming back one final time in 2026. 👀🍵

If you’ve watched these past gatherings and wondered what makes people sit down for two hours over tea, October 3 is your chance to find out. One Leaf, Many Lives takes you through 7 teas spanning Yunnan white tea, aged treasures, and pu-er from delicate Silver Needle to decades-old tea resin and aged Lao Ban Zhang.

This isn’t a drop-in tasting. Each cup builds on the one before it, telling the story of how a single tea leaf can change through origin, craft, and time.

A birthday celebration turned into an unexpected SIPS story. ☕🍸

Auntea M recently stepped away from the tea shop to celebrate her birthday, with a beautiful dinner at La Mar Cocina Peruana San Francisco. But back in Alameda came the surprise during a stop at Town Tavern where Marlene discovered that three of their cocktails used SIPS' teas—including Silk Stockings, featuring SIPS' Chamomile Tea.

For us, that discovery showed creative new ways to use, serve and share tea by locals and why we want to do more to spotlight the businesses incorporating SIPS products into what they create. So consider this the beginning of a new story:
