Last year I made a bold decision to redo all of my hard work online and I moved over from a group I made for my farm to this page and it has grown so well in this past year thank you everyone for being apart of my business and growing together with me it truly means the world to be because when things get tough in the real world I know I can count on this community and my birds to help me distract and keep moving forward it's been so thrilling the past couple years from starting my own bloodlines to now producing the third generation can't wait to see where the generation's lead me to I pray to one day be able to win ohio nationals but that's a far step from where I'm at now just beginning into the show world but I love it so much

I’ve introduced him before, but I haven’t shown him off in a little while, and y’all, I’m just so in love with this boy! 😍 He’s heading over my main bloodline, and of course, he didn’t want to cooperate for pictures, so I had to take one while holding him! 😂

Then Ro###y decided he wanted in on the picture too, so y’all get a bonus photo of my favorite duck! 🦆❤️🤣

❤️🐔 A PERSONAL UPDATE FROM YOUR MOTHER CLUCKERS SILKIES FAMILY 🐔❤️🙏

Hey, y’all! ❤️ I know I haven’t been as active on Mother Clucker Silkies lately, and I wanted to take a moment to share a couple of personal updates with my wonderful chicken family. Y’all are more than followers to me, and I appreciate every single one of you! 🫶💕

❤️ MARYLAND BOUND NOVEMBER 7TH, 8TH & 9TH! ❤️

I officially got my days approved off work, and I’ll be heading to Maryland next month! 🙌❤️ This trip means a lot to me because I’m hoping to spend some time with my aunt, who hasn’t been doing well health-wise.

Growing up, we had a beautiful relationship and shared so many memories. Unfortunately, some hurtful words were exchanged, and we ended up growing apart for a while. But life has a way of reminding us that time is precious, and we never know how much time we have left with the people we love. 💔🙏

No matter what has happened, she’s still my aunt, and I still love her. My hope is to see her, spend some time together if she’s feeling well enough for company, and hopefully make a few more memories. ❤️

I’ll also be stopping to see a couple of other people while I’m there, but spending time with my aunt is the biggest reason for this trip. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers as I make this journey. 🙏💕

🩷 MOM UPDATE — PLEASE KEEP PRAYING! 🩷🙏

We’ve received some hopeful news from the doctors! My mom is reportedly down to just ONE remaining infection, and they believe her healing is looking pretty good so far. ❤️🙌

Unfortunately, she’s still experiencing EXCRUCIATING pain, and the doctors believe scar tissue may be contributing to it. This could mean a much longer healing process before she finally gets some relief. 💔 After everything my mom has endured, it breaks my heart knowing she’s still hurting so badly.

I’m praying that her pain eases, that her body continues healing, and that she finally gets the comfort and relief she deserves. 🙏❤️ Please continue praying for her recovery and for the doctors caring for her.

Between everything happening with my mom and preparing for my trip to Maryland, life has been a lot lately. If I’m a little quiet on the page, please know I haven’t forgotten about y’all or my beautiful Silkies! 🐣💕 Sometimes family has to come first, and right now, my heart is with the people I love.

🐔💜 Let me introduce y’all to a special girl! 💜🐔

I want to present to y’all the Naked Neck Dark Mauve Silkie Frizzle I made this year! 😍✨

She’s still young and growing, so she hasn’t fully filled out yet, but I’m already loving what I see! 🥰 I’m excited to watch her continue to mature and see how she develops.

She’s also replacing the satin frizzle I previously made for this project. I’m stepping away from satin in my breeding program, so I wanted to make a Silkie-feathered frizzle to take her place. There are still a few pens where I need to use satin for now, but the goal is to breed the satin out over time. 💜

This beautiful girl will officially be joining my Mauve breeding program! 🐥💜

I can’t wait to see what she contributes and what beautiful babies she helps produce in the future! 🥰

💜 Mom Update 💜

I’m sorry I haven’t been on Mother Clucker Silkies much lately. Things have been really overwhelming with my mom’s health, and my focus has been on being there for her. ❤️
She's been hospitalized a few times had surgery on her intestines and much more

We just found out that Mom has MRSA, and we are asking for all the prayers we can get right now. 🙏💜 Please pray for healing, strength, comfort, and that the doctors can get this under control and get her feeling better.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding while I take some time away from the page. Mother Clucker Silkies is still very much in my heart — I’m just needed somewhere else right now. 🥺🐔💜

🐔 Albemarle, NC — Local Silkie Friends, I Need Some Hands-On Help! 🐔
I’m looking for someone local to Albemarle, NC who has experience using wing bands and would be willing to show me how to apply them in person. ❤️
My wing bands aren’t here yet — they should be arriving sometime next week — so I’m trying to find someone ahead of time who might be willing to help me when they arrive!
I’m honestly not very good at learning from videos, and I’m a little nervous about doing it myself for the first time. I’d feel SO much better if someone could actually walk me through it and show me how it’s done properly.
👉 I’m specifically looking for someone who has used wing bands regularly and is comfortable with them — not someone who is also just learning. I’d really love to learn from someone with plenty of hands-on experience who can show me the proper way to do it safely.
