If you’ve been by the farm lately to stop at the farm stand or just drive by and see the cows you may have noticed things are a little amiss around here.

That’s because I’ve been ill and we found out our baby boy is coming April of 2027… right after our mama cows are due.

With that being said I have not been up to halter breaking calves so we made the tough decision to ship them this year instead of selling to 4-H kids like normal, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We also hauled our mama cows to my parents for a little while to give our pasture a break but they will be back before calving for sure.

I also have been slacking on restocking the farm stand during the week, however if you stop by on the weekend everything is freshly picked and restocked. Thank you for being patient with me during this time and please note that everything in the farm stand is “pay what you think is fair” until we run out of produce for the year because I simply do not have time or energy to preserve anything!😊

Just went out and restocked the farm stand with fresh peppers, tomatoes, and pumpkins! Stop out to see us this weekend!

I’ve been a little under the weather so the farm stand has been closed for a couple weeks but she’s back open this week and we have lots of good stuff! 😊

Including:
Bell peppers
(green, yellow, red, and purple!)
Sweet snacking peppers
Cherry bomb spicy peppers
Hungarian wax peppers
Jalapeño peppers
Sweet pineapple tomatoes
Red heirloom tomatoes
Carrots
And
Green onions

It’s a little rainy today so the stand is closed but we will be open tomorrow! And we should have lots of fresh veggies ...

It’s a little rainy today so the stand is closed but we will be open tomorrow! And we should have lots of fresh veggies available including:

Just restocked the farm stand! We have carrots, green onions, potatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes, green beans, cauliflower, and cabbage!

After three days of weaning, we got the cows and the bull moved over to my parents place for some tasty grass! I think the cows are relieved to be child free and out on pasture with their man Upside😊

Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the farm stand the past few days! I hope you enjoy your produce!

We still have one more cantaloupe left at the stand! It will be a couple weeks before I have watermelon and more cantaloupe that are ripe and ready to go.

Also please note if you stop by the stand this weekend it may be a little more noisy than usual because we are weaning the calves from their mommas so they can go to their new homes in September or October 😊🩷

Snapped a few pictures tonight after chores all the momma cows are looking good after nursing calves the past few months and being bred back. Upside is looking good after making sure the girls got bred back also! The plan for now is to wean calves this coming weekend and then let everyone settle down for about a week before we load up the mommas and Upside and take them over to my parents place for some more grass!

We spent the weekend getting the barn cleaned out, now we just need to put up some panels and we are ready to start halter breaking calves! Farmers almanac says this coming Friday is a good day to wean calves so that’s the plan😊

Our momma cows are ready to be free from nursing calves and the calves have been on grain for awhile now and are growing great! We can’t wait to get the calves ready for their new homes and hopefully some lucky kiddos get to show them in 4-H or through jackpot shows!
