After years of asking my husband for a roadside stand we finally got it finished and stocked for the first time today
Fresh baked mini sourdough loaves, scones and cookies
A few dozen eggs as well

Excited to see how it goes
I will stock at least once a week if not every couple days if everything sells:)

Last week we invited two baby fainting goats to join our Homestead- Carol and Tina
We got some chores done around the property, hooves clipped, new birthing station in the barn for the older goats who are hopefully expecting in July👶🏼🐐
We are all excited for warmer weather around here☀️🌞

Please have your weekly orders in by Tuesday mornings 9am at the latest. I buy all my ingredients fresh weekly

I tend to never say no to people when they want to place orders, but it’s starting to take away from my family time and weekends so I have to have a deadline and stick to it.

ESP when bulk baking sourdough is a 3 day process so for those late/last minute orders I’m rearranging my whole schedule and pulling all nighters to make it work
And I just can’t do that anymore unfortunately

Also orders are for pick up at my house
Or you can preorder at UPV shipping to pick up in pennsburg or green lane farm garden if that’s more convenient.

I do not deliver I’m a SAHM with 3 babies I have to load up each time I leave my house

I’m sorry for any inconvenience i have to do what works for my family if im going to continue to bake .

This week I experimented with a higher hydration loaf
I accidentally over measured my water when doubling my loaf recipe (mom brain) and I just rolled with it
It was super fun to work with. It was so light and airy. I was a little nervous when I went to put in the oven. It looked a little flatter, then I would have liked.
But I’m super happy with the way it turned out all those big crevices 😍😍

I won’t be changing my traditional recipe, but this was a fun experiment

Hoping to start incorporating freshly milled flour soon ☺️☺️
