WNYGSEA is historical organization dedicated to preserving equipment and machinery for yesteryear.
The WNY Gas and Steam Engine Association is a organization that began in 1967, when residents of the Town of Alexander decided to organize a gathering of antique farm machinery and equipment. The first show was hosted in September 1967, and over 1,000 people attended. The show has grown every year, and now more than 30,000 people attend the yearly rally. Take a drive to 3000 Walker Rd in Alexander, NY with the Family, this Friday (12/10) and Saturday (12/11) from 5-9pm, to see all of the displays from the hard working Volunteers of WNY Gas & Steam. Almost a mile of displays and only $10 at the Gate for vehicles ($20 for large vans or busses). Don't forget we have plenty of Fair Food on site as well.

Congratulations to the Creek Road Pioneers 4-H Club on winning this years 'Best Youth Group Display'. Come see their display along with almost a mile of all the other displays this Friday (12/10) & Saturday (12/11) 5pm-9pm at 3000 Walker Rd, Alexander, NY 14005.
An honorable mention to the Attica FFA and Wyoming County Eggers 4-H for their fantastic displays. Also, a big thank you to all of those who participated in this years Display Contest!
And we can't forget our judges! Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to help us out.

Hoping someone here is able to help me out.. I'm on the hunt for a 20 HP Ball engine, this was my dads and he had to sell it years ago. I contacted the guy who bought it and he sold it to a fellow in Huntington, IN. I talk to that buyer and he can not remember who he sold it to, but it went to New York. Attached is a picture of the engine maybe it will catch someones eye, not sure what it looks like today.. Thank you all in advanced!

Since 1967, the Annual Gas and Steam Rally has called Genesee County home. Hundreds of exhibitors, thousands of visitors, and a whole lot of machinery take over a peaceful field in Alexander NY each September.
Drawing people from all over the country this event features attractions like antique tractors, steam engines, working models, a huge flea market and the always popular tractor-pull.
After a year put on pause, the Western New York Gas and Steam Engine Association concerted their efforts and put on one HECK of a show in 2021! The good ol' boys outdid themselves with this one!

This sign was purchased at the auction held at the steamshow... John is my father . I remember this sign hanging on our metal shed all of my childhood.
