Seasons Drinkings is back and better than ever! This years concoction features a lovely washed coffee from the Rwinyoni washing station along Rwanda’s western border aged for 30 days in a charred white oak cask used previously to age rye whiskey from our friends 🤯

Caramel sweetness, white chocolate and lemon notes melt beautifully into the rye spice and vanilla glaze you can expect from a fine K.O. Rye whiskey.

Whoa, it’s 2022…

What a strange year 2021 has been. In ways deeply rewarding and full of excitement, but difficult to reckon with the backdrop of world events. Still, we have been humbled by your support and kindness - it fuels our passion and keeps us pushing forward. We are excited by the promise of 2022 and can’t wait to continue to bring you along for the journey.

Why are you getting this New Year message on January 10th? Well, Whink’s took a few much-needed weeks off of the grind to decompress and spend time with loved ones. And just like that, we are SOLD OUT of our first ever run of Season’s Drinkings! Your feedback on this experimental roast has been outstanding - we have been incredibly humbled by the love and support. It’s already got us excited for next year’s run - we’ve got our eyes on some fun combinations 🤔

Hey, friends! We are SO excited to finally announce the release of our first ever Season’s Drinkings, a limited run barrel-aged coffee sure to warm you up in the coldest months!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For this inaugural launch, we’ve team up with in Manassas, VA to snag a freshly-emptied American white oak barrel, used to age some of the company’s finest whiskey.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We added a batch of our single origin Guatemalan Huehuetenango and the results are pure magic. The lemon and toffee notes from this wonderful coffee melt beautifully into the caramel and butterscotch notes of the barrel.

Hey friends! As you might have noticed from our page, Whink's Coffee Roasters is rolling out a new brand identity. As of today, our website and social media channels are all getting a facelift, with merchandise and packaging soon to follow.

We are so excited to be announcing this new look, which will bring with it some important changes to how we approach our business, from a renewed focus on consumer coffee education to more intentional sourcing methods for the coffees we bring into production.

Michael and Kayla founded Whink’s in 2018 with one simple purpose: to document a frankly insatiable appetite for all things caffeinated. What started as a sort of glorified photo journal grew into something much more when Whink’s started their humble home roasting operation in 2019, on a stovetop popcorn maker they stumbled across at the local thrift store. The rest, as they say, is history. Whink’s continues in a relentless pursuit of coffee excellence, learning and growing as roasters every step of the way.

The two have traveled the world, visiting coffee shops throughout Europe, the Middle East, and North and South America and are routinely struck by the ability of coffee to bring people together. It is a beverage rooted in tradition, from its humble beginnings in Ethiopia to the global commodity of today, coffee exists in lockstep with the human experience. Whink’s is delighted to play a role, however small, in embracing that tradition.
